Hello!

Welcome to my website!

Here you will find a little bit about me and my aspiring and hopefully successful foray into writing and publishing my books.

I am currently in the process of completing my first book, "Canadian EH!"
Here is a little bit about it...

Enjoy reading all about Canada's rich and amazing history of innovation, skills and personalities

- Peanut Butter, Montreal 1884
- Zipper, St. Catherines, ON 1913
- Paint Roller, Toronto 1940
- Pacemaker, Toronto 1949
- Plexiglas, Montreal 1931
If you would like to receive occasional updates on my upcoming books, please send me an email and I will add you to my mailing list.

The list goes on and on, it is actually completely amazing! And the artists we have...

As this is my first time publishing a book, I am looking for help funding this project. Check out my crowdfunding page on IndieGogo. There are perks to helping!

And more about me...

I was born in Germany, but moved to Canada at a young age, got married, raised three little canucks, and have lived here ever since.

After moving to Canada I lived in southern Ontario for many years, on a small farm, where I learned to love the country life and the raising of farm animals. I was able to get a horse, which I had always wanted, and developed my riding skills along with my absolute adoration of these majestic creatures. I am, and always will be, a horse lover! And this leads into my next book, "Horseman's Dictionary"...

Ontario is full of lakes, north and south, and as my husband put it "your part fish", which was great because other than horses, I loved to swim and enjoy a day at a lake.

After I got married, we moved to Alberta, where I developed a great admiration for this country and all things Canadian..yep, even became a hockey fan! Go Flames GO! ( husband is a Toronto Maple Leafs lifer, well...we won't go THERE )

Later we moved back to Northern Ontario, to the beautiful Rainy River District...the lakes, oh my! Now my dear husband got me "hooked" on fishing! I spent almost every evening either swimming with the kids, fishing or spending time with my horse.

After years of living in northern Ontario, my husband moved us to Vancouver Island for his work.

Beautiful, that is all I can say about the island! Absolutely beautiful! Once again, after gaining our feet there, we enjoyed swimming in the ocean, touring areas of the island with our children and once again, getting a couple horses.

This is where, as the kids were older now, I decided to get out of the house and become a healthcare worker. Lots of schooling, then hard work, but I found it enjoyable and satisfying.

Well, in 2001 we're back in Alberta! A work move again for my husband    >>>

I continued my career as a healthcare professional up until 2020...then, with the "pandemic" things fell apart for us AND a lot of others...

As I am now not working, and free to move on to something new, writing books has been a dream for a while...and this is where my story will continue...

I hope you found this interesting and perhaps you will buy a copy of one of my books when completed!

Thank you,
